Something new at the Saints
For the first time in the club’s history, St Ives Wahroonga is entering girls’ teams for the 2026/27 season.
We are fielding sides from U9 through to U17 across stages 1, 2 and 3 of the NSJCA competition, with the season starting on 19 September. If you are female and 18 or over there are options for you too, and they are set out further down this page.
Whether you have played for years or have never picked up a bat, there is a spot for you. Registration is open now.

You are exactly who we are looking for
Cricket is a good game for girls to take up. It is played in a team, outdoors, with a group of girls the same age, and the friendships tend to outlast the season.
You do not need any experience to start. Junior cricket is built around stages rather than strict age groups, so players are placed where their skills and confidence sit, not just where their birthday falls.
Bring yourself and a water bottle. We will sort the rest out with you before round one.
- Stage 1The first stage of junior cricket. Ball type, pitch length and outfield size are all set by the stage.
- Stage 2Longer pitch, harder ball and a bigger outfield than stage 1, as skills develop.
- Stage 3The senior form of the junior game, and the last step before open age cricket.
Full stage by stage detail, including ball type, pitch length and over limits, is set by the NSJCA in the Blue Book. NSJCA Blue BookPDF
